A meeting of the Committee on Ethics of Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly was held under the Chairmanship of MLA, Abdul Rahim Rather here today.Threadbare discussion was held on various issues including Code of Conduct for Members of Legislative Assembly.Legislators, Aijaz Ahmed Khan, Pawan Kumar Gupta, Dina Nath Bhagat and Ishfaq Ahmed Sheikh attended the meeting and.MLA, Aijaz Ahmed Khan gave his suggestion for incorporating them in recommendations given by the Committee.Threadbare discussions were held on moral and ethical conduct and values of the members in and outside the House.The Chairman sought cooperation from the members of the Committee to make this law making institution more affective and result oriented. Among others, senior officers and officials of Assembly Secretariat were also present in the meeting.
