Punjab Revenue & Public Relations Minister Bikram Singh Majithia today welcomed more than 3 dozen Congress supporter families of village Chattiwind into the Shiromani Akali Dal in Majitha constituency. Mr. Majithia welcoming these families into Shiromani Akali Dal fold said that these families have joined Shiromani Akali Dal recognizing the record development works done by SAD-BJP Government in every sector.Majithia addressing the gathering at a function organized to welcome these families said that his top priority has always been overall development and welfare of the people of Majitha constituency. He said before 2007 Majitha was considered as backward constituency and during last 9 years under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister S. Parkash Singh Badal the overall development in the Majitha Constituency was ensured and it has been emerged as one of the best developed constituencies. He said that on the other side the Congress has always ignored Majitha constituency.
Mr. Majithia replying to a query about the Punjab Congress President announcing various schemes to lure the people said that Captain is making fake promises to save the sinking ship of congress part as he has sensed defeat in the coming elections. He said that Congress is making fake promises of giving government job to youth of every house to have a ‘Captain’ in every house but people are fully aware of misleading propaganda of Congress. He said that it's on record that Captain put a complete ban on government recruitments and levied electricity bills on farmers during his tenure.
Mr. Majithia said that on the other side SAD-BJP Government has created world class infrastructure, gave lakhs of government jobs to youth, attracted big corporate houses for investment in the state. He further said that SAD-BJP government launched various Welfare Schemes such as Shagun Scheme, Atta Dal Scheme and various other such schemes which are being run successfully.
He said that during SAD-BJP tenure Guru Gobind Singh Refinery, Bathinda, Two International Airports, Domestic Airports, World Class Health Care & education Institutes are set up in the state. He said that IIT, IIM, Cancer Hospital, Infosys, Mega food parks and AIIMs are among big projects which are being established in the state due to the continuous efforts of SAD-BJP Government during last nine years.
