DPS World School, Zirakpur  near Panchkula organized International Children Day Celebrations at its campus with great splendor and grandeur. Students put on colorful dresses which made them adorable &precious pearls. To make the day special  for them  the event began with a shlok and an enchanting and rhythmical rendition of the song ‘Aa chal ke tujhe main le ke chalun……There was a lively and rollicking dance performance by teachers for students . Teacher also sang a hilarious parody which had the audience in splits. One of the teachers also addressed the students, broadening their horizons about the significance of this day and the role of children in nation building.Additionally, the events and activities of Children's Day festival were focused   on the education, recreation, health, cultural, economic and social needs of children. 

The day also marked the inauguration of our ‘Play-station’ for the little ones. The excitement of the students knew no bounds. A movie was screened for them which they enjoyed to the brim.The Principal, Jyoti Nagranee, blessed all the students. Children’s day is celebrated with the objective to promote the wellbeing of the children and celebrate childhood. Later, teachers disguised themselves as children and present dramas and dances for their beloved students celebration. The show concluded with the foot tapping performance by the teachers of the school which not only mesmerized the students but also infuses a lot of energy in the students. At the end , Students also enjoyed the feast of pastries which were brought for them.
