Ahead of the Hero women's Indian Open tournament from November 11 to 13, some of the top foreign golfers visited the Taj Mahal here on Monday.The $400,000 event, co-sanctioned by the Ladies European Tour (LET) and the Women's Golf Association of India (WGAI) will see 114 top professionals from around the globe fighting for the top spot at the picturesque DLF Golf and Country Club in Gurugram.The golfers were ecstatic to see one of the seven wonders of the world and were in awe of the incredible architecture and the rich heritage of the Mughal era monument.The Hero Indian Open, now in its 10th year, will see the likes of defending champion Emily Kristine Pedersen, 2014 Indian Open winner Gwladys Nocera, 2015 Ladies European Masters winner Beth Allen and 2016 Ladies Scottish Open winner Isabelle Boineau among others.The Indian challenge will be spearheaded by Olympian Aditi Ashok and will include the likes of Vani Kapoor and Sharmila Nicollet. Aditi, playing as a rookie on the LET has had a dream year. She became the first Indian golfer to secure a top 10 finish on the tour, when she secured tied ninth position at the Ladies European Masters and then bettered it with a sixth place finish at the Andalucia Costa Del Sol Open De Espana Femenino.
