Describing the current disturbances on the JK Borders (IB) as very unfortunate and worrisome, JKPCC Chief G.A. Mir has expressed deepest concern over safety and security of the people living near Borders in the State.PCC Chief said that people are confronted with difficult situation due to the continuous Cross LOC firing and emphasized that Centre must take proactive measure to ensure safety of lives and properties of the people.Strongly condemning the killing of innocent people, PCC Chief urged the Central Govt to take immediate measures to escalate the border tension, so that the safety of border people is ensured, as it is ultimately the common innocent people who have to brave the brunt of the LOC Firing, so Centre Govt must take long term measures with regard to safety and security of people living near borders in the entire State of J&K, G.A. Mir said.Mir also expressed serious concern over the losses caused in the backdrop of firing on IB and sought rehabilitation of affected families. He said the continuous disturbances in J&K Borders has made the lives of people difficult and Centre must ensure fool proof security to people living near borders in all the three regions of the State.He also expressed deep sorrow over the loss of life in RS Pura due to firing a day ago.
