The Maritime Academy Campus,  Udyon Village, Morni Hills, Panchkula honoured  80 cadets with Merchant Navy Epaulettes and Cadet Caps decorated with Merchant Navy cap Badges Oath Taking Ceremony organised at its campus as a sailor's uniform ,badges & stripes  is a part of their identity.TMA strength lies on grooming  future officers to go much beyond the syllabus and aim for good technical skills combined with safety, culture, discipline communication skills, team building financial planning , stress handling tacking adverse situation while sailing and other officer like qualities which all are the requirements of the present shipping industry.

While speaking at the moment Global Head, TMC Shipping, Anil Jinsi informed that we believe in training students to serve on board Foreign Going ships in the Merchant Navy as Marine Engineers. In the process they would become valuable assets of our country. As they become part of Indian merchant navy they are taught to be ambassadors of our country and make all of us proud of their hard work, sincerity and devotion to their profession. Our objectives are to produce good assets to promote Indian Marine Engineers around the world. We facilitate training in various aspects of Marine Engineering. The various areas of training provided to the students. He later, motivated students that to excel in all these fields of study. At the end of ceremony students stood like proud soldiers in their dress whites decorated with their Epaulettes and Uniform Caps.
