The Shiv Sena is likely to contest 20 seats in the upcoming Goa assembly polls in alliance with a soon-to-debut political outfit mentored by a rebel RSS faction, a party MP said on Saturday.Addressing a press conference in Panaji, Sanjay Raut, however, stressed that the alliance in Goa with the new political party, which is expected to contest against the BJP here, will not impact the Shiv Sena-BJP alliance in neighbouring Maharashtra."We plan to contest around 20 seats and we will finalise the alliance with Subhash Velingkar's party in a couple of days," Raut said.Velignkar, who leads a rebel RSS faction in Goa, is expected to announce a new political party on Monday, which will take on the BJP.Claiming that the BJP-led coalition government is corrupt and has betrayed the cause of regional languages in Goa, Velingkar has promised to launch the political outfit, specifically to defeat the BJP.
