Chandigarh , 28 Oct 2012

While addressing thousands of Nirankari volunteers at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan Sec. 30-A here  it was informed by Shri Mohinder Singh Ji , Parmukh  , Sant Nirankari Mandal Chandigarh  that a beautiful township of tents and Shamianas is fast coming up in the Capital along with Burari Road and Outer Ring Road.  The vast grounds spreading over more than 400 acres are getting ready to host the 65th Annual Nirankari Sant Samagam, the biggest congregation of the Sant Nirankari Misson, scheduled to be held on November 3, 4 and 5, 2012. Ever since His Holiness Baba Hardev Siongh Ji Maharaj inaugurated the preparations on September 30, thousands of the Sant Nirankari Sewa Dal volunteers and other devotees have been working on the grounds day and night. They are not only from Delhi or its adjoining areas; some of them have come from Chandigarh, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and far off places also.  Some devotees have come all the way from Mumbai to design and install the gates. All the devotees coming from outside Delhi will be provided the boarding and lodging facilities at the Samagam complex itself.  Special care is, therefore, taken to provide the transport, water, electricity, sewerage and other necessary amenities. The various departments of the Government of Delhi and other agencies are giving full cooperation in their respective areas.  Langar (free food) will be served in every residential ground separately.  In addition, there will be canteens to provide tea, coffee and snacks at highly subsidized rates. Besides the main congregation Pandal, various departments of the Sant Niranakri Mandal will set up their offices to assist the devotees coming from outside.  An exhibition, Nirankari Pardarshani, will be an important centre of attraction for the devotees, besides the publication stalls.  His Holiness Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj spends a lot of his time on the Samagam Grounds to provide necessary guidance as also to bless those engaged in selfless service.  He is keen to see that every devotee coming to participate in the Samagam finds his stay comfortable and blissful.  Nirankari devotees treat service as the most important means to give expression to their devotion to God.  Thousands of volunteers reach the grounds early in the morning, do Sewa. Others, of course, work round the clock to see that they keep the date with Samagam.
