The District Level Review Committee (DLRC), District Consultative Committee (DCC) and Local Advisory Committee for RSETI, today reviewed the performance of local banks under Annual Credit Plan of 2016-17 for the quarter ending June 2016.The meeting was convened by the State Bank of India, Lead Bank Officer and chaired by District Development Commissioner, Doda  Mr. Bhupinder Kumar.LDM Sanjeev Mahajan, apprised the house that the deposits and advances of all Commercial Banks as on 30.06.2016 stood at Rs.1434.06 Crores and Rs 483.34 Crores respectively, thus achieving CD Ratio  to 33.70%.  The Chairman expressed his displeasure over low CD ratio in the district and stressed for improvement.AGM RBI,  R.B.Gupta also laid stressed on adopting clear cut strategy to achieve 60% target CD ratio. LDM Sanjeev Mahajan and DDM NABARD Rajesh Badyal stressed upon Banks to focuse on micro financing to achieve the targets set under ACP 2016-17 especially under priority sector.The Chairman, expressed his concern about the tardy progress in ACP achievements. He directed all the banks to adopt multi pronged holistic approach to make their outreach possible in the far flung villages which are mostly unbanked. He called upon the bankers  to deepen the penetration of Financial Inclusion and expand the converge of financial services of all the sections of society particularly to those at the bottom most of the bottom of the economic pyramid. 

He further said that the financial inclusion is a process of ensuring access to financial services and timely and adequate credit   for vulnerable groups such as weaker sections, rural women and lower income groups at an affordable cost.  District Development Commissioner stressed upon to coverage of all the households under Social security schemes announced by Prime Minister. He further stressed on creating awareness among the people about the social security schemes by holding Financial literacy camps on regular basis. The meeting had a thread bare review of all Govt` sponsored schemes with special  focus on JLG, NRLM, NULM, PMEGP,  MSME, SHGs, DIR , KCC,  HANDICRAFT, HANDLOOM, and Women beneficiaries.The DDC further called upon all line departments and banks to galvanize their efforts to give boost to the rural credit dispensation particularly by way of KCC, SHG, Farm mechanization, JLGs and Farmer`s Club.Director RSETI informed the house that out of 1199 entrepreneurs trained so far, 751 have been settled and are earning their livelihood. The director RSETI also raised the issue of land for RSETI Doda. The DDC enjoined upon all banks and Govt. Deptts. to make an earnest/heartiest endeavor to improve their efficiency so that the common man who is centre of activities of all the concern is benefitted under various Govt sponsored schemes.
