Not only Capt Amarinder Singh, but we would defeat the entire Congress party with a big margin. This was stated by Union Food Processing Minister Biba Harsimrat Kaur Badal while speaking to media persons after inaugurating the Sewa Kendras located in Rural areas of the district, today. She said that he is the same Capt Amarinder Singh, who in the year 2002, had promised people that on forming government, he would continue all the facilities/schemes started during the tenure of S. Parkash Singh Badal, but when the Congress party formed government, he not only stopped all the facilities but even stopped distribution of free electricity to farmers. She said that first Capt Amarinder Singh befooled the people of Patiala by fighting elections from Amritsar and now he is all set to befool people of Amritsar as he wants to contest election from Patiala and would impose a Lok Sabha byelection for the people of Amritsar.While speaking to media persons regarding the Aam Aadmi Party, Biba Harsimrat Kaur Badal said that Arvind Kejriwal is biting his own party leaders one by one like a King Cobra and is dreaming of becoming the Chief Minister of Punjab. She said that the intelligent Punjabis would never tolerate a non-Punjabi as their CM. She said that as the people are Delhi are facing Chikungunya epidemic in their state, Arvind Kejriwal is himself getting treated for his cough in Bangalore. She said not only Kejriwal, but even his ministers are busy holidaying and partying on public money on foreign shores as well as in other states. She said that both the Congress and Aam Aadmi Party are befooling the people and are indulging in vote politics as when they form their government, they forget all the promises made with their voters.
She said that on the other hand Chief Minister S. Parkash Singh Badal interacts with people by sitting amongst them and solve all their problems. She said that it was only due to the great policies of CM S. Parkash Singh Badal that several welfare schemes have been started in Punjab, which has fastened the wheel of progress and development in the state.Union Food Processing Minister Biba Harsimrat Kaur Badal said that during the tenure of Shiromani Akali Dal-Bharatiya Janta Party led Punjab government, people would not have to face any problem for availing benefits of various government schemes. She said that is why several Sewa Kendras have been opened in all parts of the state so that people get their works done in a simple manner. She said with an aim to provide all citizen centric facilities near to the peoples homes, 61 Sewa Kendras have been opened in Mansa district alone. Nine such Sewa Kendras located in Rural areas of the district, namely village Bhaini Bagha, Aklian, Atla Kalan, Matti, Borawal, Barey, Kulana, Datewas and Kulrian were inaugurated today. She said that with the inauguration of these Sewa Kendras, people would not have to visit cities for getting their works done. She said all citizen centric facilities can be availed under a single roof. On the occasion, she also laid the foundation stone of construction of roads at village Ralla and Aklian.During her today’s programme, she visited her adopted village Barre and also distributed grants worth crores for the construction of Dharamshalas, Parks, sheds of Gaushalas, Cremation grounds, rooms in schools, besides several other works in Budhlada and Bareta.Prominent among those present on the occasion included Mansa MLA Mr Prem Mittal, Budhlada MLA Mr Chatin Singh Samao, Deputy Commissioner Mr Varinder Kumar Sharma, SSP Mr Gurpreet Singh Toor, OSD to Deputy CM Mr Mohnish Kumar, besides several others.
