The Punjab Deputy Chief Minister, S. Sukhbir Singh Badal today said that after the record development of the state in past 9 years, the next 2 months would prove to be the game changers in the development of state and a whole new leaf would be turned. He said that a comprehensive roadmap has been chalked out. He also announced that after inaugurating the sewa kendars in urban areas, the approximate 2000 sewa kendars in rural areas would see the starting of operations  next month.Addressing an impressive rally after the inauguration of sewa kendar at water works road here, the Deputy Chief Minister said that these sewa kendars would prove to be immensely beneficial in providing government services to the common masses in a hassle free and time bound manner. He also divulged that Punjab is the lone state in the country to have taken such a novel measure of public welfare.

The Deputy Chief Minister said that after the urban area sewa kendars, now the ones in rural areas would also be inaugurated soon. He also said that skill centers would soon be made operational throughout the state to train the youth in professional job oriented trades and as a public welfare measure more than 2500 free government medicine centers would be opened regarding which the modalities have been completed. He also announced to distribute sports kits and gyms apart from utensils to women from rural areas under Mai Bhago Scheme.S. Badal making a significant announcement said that the state government would give facelift to the villages of the state regarding which a comprehensive plan of Rs. 30000 crore has been prepared. This would also include concretization of streets and drains. Calling on the people of Punjab to hand out historic defeat to the congress & AAP, he said that to continue the pace of development it is necessary to give hattrick chance to the SAD-BJP combine.

Listing the achievements of the welfare schemes of the Punjab Government, the Deputy Chief Minister said that atta-dal scheme, shagan scheme, free power to farmers, free power worth 200 units to SC/BC families, new law concerning farmer loans, free health insurance have proved to be game changers. He also said that the state has seen era of prosperity only with S. Parkash Singh Badal at the helm as Chief Minister. He also said that owing to the untiring efforts of the SAD-BJP government, Mansa also has been witness to the all round progress and prosperity.On the occasion, Chief Parliamentary Secretary Sant Balbir Singh Ghunnas, MLA Prem Mittal, Chairman District Planning Committee Prem Arora, Chairman Zila Parishad Sukhdev Singh Chainewala, Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma, SSP Mukhwinder Singh Bhullar, District President SAD (Rural) Gurmel Singh Fafrebhai ke, District President SC wing Swaran Singh Heerewala, District BJP President Satish Kumar Goyal, Chairman Punseed Sukhwinder Singh Aulakh were also present.
