Minister for Animal, Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries, Abdul Ghani Kohli today chaired a meeting to review the pace of progress on developmental projects in Gandoh area of district Doda.Speaking at the meeting the Minister stressed  on the need to generate mass awareness about  various government sponsored schemes to encourage people  to avail their benefits. He directed the concerned officers to hold regular  awareness programmes  especially in rural and far flung areas  to inform the  people about the  benefits of various welfare schemes of the government.Reviewing the working of Animal and Sheep Husbandry  and fisheries departments, the Minister  directed the concerned officers to  ensure timely delivery of services of vaccination, medication, in rural areas for development  of  livestock .

Later the minister addressed a huge gathering at Dadkai village of Gandoh.  He reiterated the commitment of the present   government to provide all basic amenities to the people of the state.Underlining the importance of maintaining communal harmony in the society,  the Minister sought people's cooperation in this regard.The minister also listened to the  peoples grievances and assured them that their genuine demands will be fulfilled in phased manner.MLA Bhaderwah, Daleep Singh Parihar, MLA Inderwal  G. M Saroori,  Director Sheep Husbandry Sant Ram, Director Fisheries R K Dogra  besides a large number  of locals  were   present on the occasion.
