Aam Aadmi Parti volunteers lead by Zone Coordinator Col. C M Lakhanpal, today staged an impressive protest holding placards and banners  with slogans  in hands in front of  DC office  against the arrest of AAP Delhi MLA  Naresh Yadav by Sangrur police  and handed over a memorandum addressed to Governor Punjab to Deputy Commissioner Ravi Bhagat.  Prominent who participated  in the protest  included  Mahila wing State Vice President Rajwant Kaur, Zone Youth wing Coordinator  Balbir Chaudhary, Administration and Grievance wing state Vice President Jarnail Singh , state Joint  secy. A & G wing Darshan Singh Shankar, State Vice President SC wing Parkash Singh Jandiali, Zone S C wing Coordinator Gurmail Singh,  State Social Media team member Puneet Sahni, Zone  Social Media  Coordinator Kanav Vats,  Councilor Ajay Nayyar Tanky, Vinod Thappar,A mrik Singh Batra,  Gurmail Sangowal,  Ajay Mittal, Mannu Sharma, Neetu Vohra,  Sudesh Chopra, office Coordinator Subhash Chander, Dheeraj Kathuria, Mewa Singh, col Iqbal Singh, ravinderpal Singh Pali and  Master Hari Singh.

Earlier addressing the volunteers , Col lakhanpal said that  Sangrur Police  under a deep rooted conspiracy  by Badal Govt have arrested AAP MLA from  Delhi  Naresh Yadav in a false and concocted case relating to the sacrilege  of  Religious Granth at Malerkotla .  He added that Naresh Yadav had been fully cooperating with the Police Enquiry. Col Lakhanpal  slammed  Badal Govt. in Punjab and  Modi Govt. in center for registering false cases against many AAP MLAs just getting furious from the rising popularity of AAP in Pujab. He further added that  the people were fully aware of their nefarious designs and will give them shameful defeat in the coming Vidhan Sabha elections in Punjab.
