The BJP on Sunday once again demanded action against Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) leader Naseemuddin Siddiqui and other party workers for using derogatory language against its expelled leader Dayashankar Singh's family.BJP spokesman Sudhanshu Trivedi said the BSP's inaction was in stark contrast to the BJP's action against Dayashankar Singh, who was expelled for six years, for making derogatory remarks against BSP supremo Mayawati."There is a clear difference between our action and BSP's inaction against its workers and leaders who humiliated Dayashankar Singh's family," he said. “Our state president tendered an apology, our Finance Minister Arun Jaitley tendered an apology and we have expelled him from the party,” he said.

He said that although Singh himself had tendered an unconditional apology for his comments against BSP supremo Mayawati, but the BJP still considered his action unpardonable. “Whatever BSP has done is a well-planned agitation under the guidance of their top leadership,” he said. The BJP spokesman also attacked the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) after the arrest of its MLA Amanatullah Khan, saying the party stood “exposed” on the issue of probity.“As far as probity in public life is concerned, you can see that so many of their legislators are now being accused and arrested in different criminal cases,” Trivedi said.
