DY CM directs establishment of Moving Schools in Bota Pathri, provision of other basic facilities

Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh today visited Bota Pathri in Gulmarg area of Baramulla district.Minister interacted with the locals of the area who apprised him about the problems faced by the inhabitants of the area.Deputy Chief Minister directed the officers to establish moving schools in the area for the children of Gujjar and Bakerwal communities and also asked them to depute permanent teachers for these schools.Deputy CM said the children of this community suffer educationally owing to seasonal migrations of their families and the moving schools will help the children to get free education without getting routine life of their families affected.

Regarding electricity, the Deputy Chief Minister said the government will soon electrify the Bota Pathri villages under Deen Dayal Upadaye Viduti Karan Yojana (DDUVKY). He said till the area is electrified he will ask the Minister for Science and Technology to issue Solar Lights to the inhabitants of the area.Dr Singh said the electrification of all un-electrified hamlets would be done under the flagship programme by December 2019 and Bota Pathri will also be electrified under the said scheme.While interacting with the people of the area, the Deputy CM assured them that all their issues relating to the health sector would be redressed in a phased manner. He said that he would take up the issue of establishing primary health Centre there with the concerned authorities so that the people get the requisite medical facilities within their catchment area.
