Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti, hosted Iftaar at her official residence here this evening. Hundreds of guests from across the Jammu region attended the Iftaar.A host of dignitaries including Minister  for Consumer Affairs & Public Distribution, Choudhary Zulfkar Ali,  Minister of State for Education and Tourism, Ms Priya Sethi, Minister of State for Power, Syed Farooq Andrabi, Advisor to Chief Minister, Prof Amitabh Mattoo, Members of Parliament, Legislators, leaders of various political parties, Vice-Chancellors, top army and police officers, officers of civil administration, besides members of the media fraternity, representatives of business and trade community, and prominent citizens of Jammu and civil society representatives participated in the Iftaar.On the initiative of the Chief Minister, women officers of Jammu region were specially invited for the Iftaar.Special arrangements were made for the invitees to offer Maghrib prayers in the lawns of the official residence of the Chief Minister.The participants prayed for peace and prosperity of Jammu and Kashmir.Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Mr Navin Kumar Choudhary, Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Dr Pawan Kotwal and Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Dr Simrandeep Singh were also present.
