Former Union Minister and senior Congress leader, Prof. Saifuddin Soz, Thursday said that he never thought that the BJP President, Amit Shah was so illiterate politically to have declared Jawahar Lal Nehru responsible for the ceasefire with Pakistan in 1948.In a statement issued to KNS, Soz said, “I never thought that the BJP President, Amit Shah was so illiterate politically to have declared Jawahar Lal Nehru responsible for the ceasefire with Pakistan in 1948, as according to him, otherwise, the Raiders would have been completely pushed back and there would be no ‘Kashmir-Problem’.”He said that Shah doesn’t know the genesis of the Kashmir Problem at all and his statement at Nehru Memorial Museum and library, the other day, betrayed his bias and his lack of interest to understand the real issues relating to the Kashmir Problem.

“Amit Shah’s declaration that Shyama Prasad Mokerjee was not provided medical facilities during his house-arrest in Srinagar and that amounted to Mokerjee’s murder is a belated propaganda as there was a probe into Mokerjee’s death and all facts were made public by the then State Govt,” he said.Soz said that let Amit Shah know for good that today’s India can’t go by his propaganda on issues. “One would have thought that he had learnt the lesson and changed his habit of jumping the gun, after the Nation (through the powerful electronic and other media) had rejected his falsehood recently on migration of members of the majority community from KAIRANA (Utterpradesh). “It was proved by the UP Govt. that no individual or family belonging to the majority community had migrated from Kairana due to any communal strife. It is known to all people that Amit Shah and his party is dead-set to provoke communal tensions in keeping the upcoming elections in UP,” he said. (KNS)
