The Vigilance Bureau nabbed a Patwari, Harjit Singh for accepting bribe of Rs.5,000.An official spokesperson of the Vigilance Bureau said that Mr. Jagtar Singh resident of Village Bihla of district Barnala had shops on the Barnala-Moga road that are acquired under extension of road. Patwari Harjit Singh posted at revenue circle Tallewal-A has demanded bribe of Rs. 10,000 to providing compensation for shops and land.The spokesman said that on the complaint of Mr. Jagtar Singh, a trap was laid by the Vigilance Bureau and nabbed accused Patwari Harjit Singh red handed while accepting bribe of Rs. 5,000 as advance. A case has been registered and further investigation is under process.
