Praising JKPCC Chief G.A. Mir for his hard work, dedication and his commitment to strengthen the Congress Party from grass roots level, General Secretary Congress and Congress Candidate for Anantnag Assembly Segment Hilal Ahmad Shah expressed gratitude to Mir for having campaigned vigorously, however, he refuted the news item mentioning that Mir was reluctant to campaign for him.He said PCC Chief remained Stationed in the Constituency since the day Election Notification was issued by ECI, besides gearing up the Party Cadres for energetic campaigning in the Constituency. The powerful campaigning by the PCC Chief has given sleepless nights to opponents.Refuting the news item appeared in some Jammu based newspaper mentioning that PCC Chief was reluctant to campaign for the Congress Candidate, he said this is far from reality and beyond his imagination. It was the PCC Chief who was spearheading the Election campaigning.
Condemning the news item so published, he termed it misleading, baseless, false and concocted and refuted it in Toto.He said every primary and secondary worker of the party feels proud to have the President like G.A. Mir, who is committed to the cause of strengthening the Party from grass roots level, besides leaving no stone unturned to reach out to the people across the State.He said such meaningless statements are not going to damage the Congress Party, for the fact, Congress Party is strong enough under the leadership of G.A. Mir and will defeat the elements hell bent upon to weaken Congress Party. He also warned of serious consequences, if the vicious campaign against Congress Party is not stopped. (KNS)
