Stating that Sheikh Tanveer Sultan of Bemina was killed in a fake encounter in Kud area of Udhampur district,Dukahtaran-e-Millat Wednesday said that Indian forces want to eliminate every youth whose families are associated with the resistance movement against the illegal Indian occupation.This was stated by DeM general secretary, Nahida Nasreen, at the residence of Sheikh Tanveer here at Bemina. Nasreen led a party delegation to express condolences and sympathies with the bereaved family members, a party spokesperson said.According to the spokesperson, the party chairperson, Syedah Aasiyeh Andrabi, wasn’t able to visit the bereaved family as she has been placed under house detention by the forces at her Soura residence.Delivering the party chairperson’s message during the condolence meet, Nasreen, according to the spokesperson, said that the police version regarding the cold-blooded murder of Sheikh Tanveer is nothing but a concocted story. “The claims made by the police that they have recovered an AK-47 rifle and a pistol from the deceased is nothing but a blatant lie. It is an unbelievable and a concocted story.
How can a person carry such ammunition in an SRTC bus to Kud while there are so many check posts along the road? No sane person can believe this rubbish theory,” she told the gathering.“The real reason behind the killing of Sheikh Tanveer is something else. His family has been associated with the resistance movement from the very first day. Sheikh Mohammad Sultan (father of Sheikh Tanveer) has remained at the forefront of the movement against India while another son of his, Sheikh Gowhar, was a top ranked Mujahid. The other sons of M Sultan Sahib also follow the Islamic teachings religiously,” she said.The spokesperson said that it is this love and attraction of Kashmiri youth towards Islamic teachings which unnerves the Indian forces.“The secret Indian agencies are on the look-out of people who, somehow, are related to the resistance movement. That is why we see innocent youth are killed in fake encounters every now and then,” she added.She said that the love of these children for the resistance movement irritates these agencies and they look out for chances to kill them. “When these agencies and the Indian authorities fail to forcefully tame the pro-resistance sentiment among our youth, the either put them behind bars or kill them as they killed Sheikh Tanveer in fake encounters,” she added.The spokesperson said that India has launched an aggressive policy against Kashmiris at all levels.
“On one hand , the puppet CM asks the Indian army chief to keep JK youth busy in schemes like Sadhbavna so that they don’t think about the Kashmir issue and take no step towards the movement that will free them from Indian illegal occupation and on the other , our youth are being supplied with drugs by agents of army and SoG. Drug abuse has menacingly engulfed Kashmir because of the supplies made available by these forces’ agents,” she added.“India is fighting a multi-dimensional war against us. So if we don’t stand up and fight against all these conspiracies, we will be wiped out from pages of history as a Muslim nation . We must understand that India has waged war against the morality of our youth and simultaneously kills those who are close to the teachings of Islam and resist this aggressive nature,” she added.She said that time has come that pro-resistance leadership and the people give a befitting reply to India and it puppets in Kashmir. “Mehbooba Mufti, who will be contesting elections in Islamabad, and other pro-India puppets should be told that people are aware about their wicked policies and they should be rejected at all levels,” she added.Meanwhile, the spokesperson said that the party chairperson, Syedah Aasiyeh Andrabi, continues to remain under illegal house detention at her residence here. “On Tuesday, a large contingent of police came to arrest the party chairperson, however, given her ill health, the forces detained her inside her residence,” she added.The spokesperson strongly condemned the illegal detention of the party chairperson.
