With a view to dispel the fear among the people, following the incidents of blasts in Haryana Buses in the recent past, Hisar MP Shri Dushyant Chautala today travelled like a commoner from Badopal in Fatehabad district to Hisar in a Haryana Roadways bus. The main aim behind the move was to check that whether the buses are complying with the prescribed norms and to inculcate a feeling of confidence among the people. As per the information, Shri Dushyant Chautala had a 30-km journey in the Haryana Roadways bus bearing registration number HR 57 5855. Notably, a low-intensity explosion occurred in a private bus at Bhuna near Fatehabad on Tuesday. Prior to that a blast had taken place in Haryana Roadways bus in Pipli near Kurukshetra few days back.

During his travel in the bus today, Shri Dushyant Chautala spoke to the passangers that what kind of problems they are facing in the buses. He also checked the first aid box and emergency kit in the bus and patted the bus driver Ram Niwas and conductor Joginder for complying with the mandatory norms. Expressing his views, Ram Niwas said that it was for the first time in his service spanning 23 years that a Member of Parliament travelled in a bus. "It is a matter of great honour that Shri Dushyant Chautala travelled in bus. I must say that he is an MP, who is connected with the people at ground level and has immense concern for them", echoed Ram Niwas.

Even, the bus passangers were also extremely happy noticing that Lok Sabha Member from Hisar was seated alongwith them. The passangers took Shri Dushyant's autographs and also got selfies clicked with the youngest parliamentarian of India. "Haryana roadways is the lifeline of the state and main mode of transportation for the people. After the recent blasts in the Haryana buses, there was a fear among the people. I took the initiative to be seated along with my brothers and sisters in a Roadways bus, in order to instill a confidence among the common masses that there is nothing to worry", said Shri Dushyant Chautala .
