Several members raised issues of public importance during the Zero Hour in Legislative Council here today.Mr. Vikramaditya Singh called for making adequate arrangements for yatries during Machail Yatra in Bhaderwah includingMr. Vibodh Gupta demanded release of pending dues for the works carried out in convergence of various departments in Rajouri and Poonch districts, besides posting of Block Development Officers (BDOs) and Junior Engineers (JEs) in Rajouri.Mr. Surinder Choudhary demanded removal of encroachment from 500 kanals Animal Husbandry Farm in Nowshera.Mr. Saif-Ud-Din demanded posting of Veterinary doctors in upper reaches of Doodapathari and Budgam for proper treatment of sheeps.Sofi Yusuf demanded timely release of pension to widows, old aged and disabled persons. Mr. Naresh Kumar Gupta demanded release of selection list of candidates selected under Technician-III for district Doda.Dr. Bashir Ahmad Veeri demanded repair and black-topping of Gujjar Basti road in Khiram area of Bijbehara, while as Mr. Showkat Hussain Ganai demanded repair of Rahmoo Bridge over Romshi Nallah in Pulwama district.Mr. Sajjad Kichloo demanded framing a comprehensive policy to address the issues of daily wagers and casual labourers.Mr. Ali Mohammad Dar demanded establishment of Degree College in Chadoora  of district Budgam.Mr. Qaiser Jamsheed Lone and Mr. Firdous Tak  drew the attention of the Government towards situation arisen due to recent rains and hailstorm across the state, saying that the government should immediately depute joint teams to assess damage caused  to crop s and other properties.S. Dharambir Singh Oberoi demanded macadamization of roads for facilitating hassle-free traffic movement in the state in view of ensuing Yatra and fruit season.Master Noor Hussain demanded that the Government should reassess the jurisdiction of various newly created administrative units. Charanjeet Singh said that the Government should take steps to facilitate the Sikh pilgrims intending to visit various shrines in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir.

Sham Lal Bhagat  demanded to take steps to check soil erosion caused by Bhaglihar Dam reservoir. He also advocated for taking up  Asar-Marmat road as alternate route of National Highway connecting Batote and Doda.Mr. Ajatshatru Singh called for undertaking work on Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) in Mata Kheer Bhawani.Mr. Ghulam Nabi Monga demanded release of remuneration in favour of employees working in medical sub-units. Mr. Jugal Kishore Sharma demanded plying of public transport up to Sudota in tehsil Panchari, Udhampur.Ms. Rani Gargi Billowria demanded uninterrupted power supply in Jammu province during the Holy Month of Ramadhan, especially during the time of Iftar and Sehri. Mr. Javed Ahmad Mirchal demanded early installation of electricity transformers damaged I n some villages in Karnah tehsil of  Kupwara district.
