The Punjab State Scheduled Castes Commission today summoned Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Hoshiarpur and ordered him to be present before the Commission in person, during the next hearing of a case on August 2, 2016.The Commission has summoned Commissioner in person due to his blatant defiance of the Punjab State Scheduled Castes Commission’s orders for not being present in the consecutive four hearing of this case.Disclosing this here, Mr. Rajesh Bagha, Chairman of the Commission said that the Commission has received a complaint from Sri Guru Ravidass Sabha, Souuth Khurd, Hoshairpur for covering the a stinking Nullah. He said that acting on this complaint, the Commission has directed the Municipal Corporation, Hoshiarpur to submit action taken report. He said that the corporation neither submit the action report till date nor any employee from the corporation remained present during consecutive four hearings of this case.
