District Development Commissioner Baramulla Yasha Mudgal today conducted an extensive tour of the tourist spot Gulmarg along with SSP Baramulla, Mir Imtiyaz.The DDC met with the tourist guides, ponywals and other stakeholders relating to tourism industry. They apprised various tourism related issues to the DDC. The DDC assured for early redressal of their grievances and said that all issues will be resolved on priority basis.While terming tourism as an important factor of the economy, the DDC sought friendly and cordial behavior with tourists. She also called for avoiding use of polythene and maintaining proper sanitation especially around hotels, restaurants and in public parks. CEO, Gulmarg Development Authority, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Gulmarg and other officers from various Departments were also present.
