While thanking the people for observing exemplary shutdown jointly called by the Pro-freedom leadership against the proposed plans of creation of the separate clusters for the Pandits, establishing of Sainik colonies, BJP leader Choudhary Lal Singh’s warning to the Jammu Muslims and induction of new anti-Kashmir industrial policy in Kashmir, Chairman Hurriyat (G) Syed Ali Geelani reiterated the call for holding of peaceful protest demonstration after the Friday congregation prayers on 27 May tomorrow. He made it clear that until the government will completely shun these dangerous and anti-Kashmir ideas and will assure the people in this regard, the protests will continue and we will not allow the implementation of the RSS agendas in Jammu & Kashmir at any cost.

In a statement issued to KNS, Syed Ali Geelani reiterated his stand that “we welcome the tourists with open arms and our nation feels pride in serving them here but we can’t close our eyes from our national responsibilities and nor will we allow the communal Sangh Parivar to do whatever they want in this Muslim majority region”.Syed Ali Geelani criticized all the pro-Indian political parties including PDP and NC for the fact that they play same role in their respective regimes and obey every order from the New Delhi. The policy makers of India are using every method and tactic to suppress the peaceful voices of the Kashmiri people and to eliminate their Muslim identity and these local parties play the role of facilitators for the New Delhi.Syed Ali Geelani said that the PDP is lying about the Sainik and Pandit Colonies but the Sangh Parivar leaders every time and everyday counter their lies and expose them before the public.
