Minister for Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution, Ch. Zulfkar Ali, said the establishment of Medical College at Rajouri is second milestone after the establishment of BGSBU which was a dream project of late Mufti Mohd Sayeed.“Establishment of this medical college will help the students of this region to fulfill their dreams, he said.The Minister this college will also cater to the healthcare needs of the patients who otherwise have to face hardships in getting proper medicare.Referring to the mega developmental projects like establishment of Govt Medical college at Rajouri, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Rajouri, Mughal Road, Nursing College at BGSBU Rajouri, Cross LoC trade, the Minister said that Mufti Mohammad Sayeed’s vision of transforming the socio-economic scenario of  Pir Panjal region would be carried forward in letter and spirit.Zulfkar exhorted upon the people to come forward and avail maximum benefits of developmental schemes. He asked them to play a proactive and participatory role for effective implementation of developmental projects.The Minister said that the present dispensation will leave no stone unturned to ensure the progress and prosperity of people of the state. In this regard, numerable welfare and development initiatives are being launched by the government, he added.
