For the first time in the history of Pahloo a public was held, where the Deputy Commissioner Kulgam listened the grievances of different delegations of the area. The camp was held in the premises of Tehsil Office Pahloo.The main demands presented before the DC were the provision of sports stadium, construction of new PHC building, construction of flood protection bund along Vishew river which causes havoc in floods and Pahloo -Lankerpombay road. With respect to the sports ground, the Auqaf Committee committed to keep available the Khascharia land and Sports Department pledged to develop the requisite facilities of the ground.Other demands included the construction of internal roads, completion of the Pahloo-Brazloo bridge on war footing, providing the clean and round the clock water supply and uninterrupted power connectivity.Deputy Commissioner assured that all the issues would be taken care of and immediate and pro-active steps shall be taken to address the issues. On the occasion, the DC said that another public camp shall be held very soon and the status of the implementation would be conveyed in that camp. The DC stressed upon the officers of CAPD department to keep available the rate lists of essential commodities in their stores. The DC directed Tehsildar Pahloo to keep available all the services under PSGA to public.Among other, the camp was participated by SSP Kulgam, ADC Kulgam, ACR, ACD, ARTO, Exens of R&B, PDD, PHE, I&FC, other district officers besides Tehsildar and BDO.
