In the back drop of instructions of Chief Minister, Ms. Mehbooba Mufti to provide services to the people in a hassle free manner, second round of special Revenue Camps was held on Sunday in Srinagar. Huge public response was received to the Special Revenue Camps organized at seven locations to provide services to the people at their doorsteps. Senior officers of Revenue Department including Addl. Deputy Commissioners, Sub Divisional Magistrates, Assistant Commissioners, Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars were available at the Camps for on spot for redressal of the issue. 1113 Revenue matters were settled in the Camps which include 174 Mutations 415 Permanent Residence Certificates, 168 Income Certificates, 08 Property Certificates, 95 Revenue Extracts and 253 other Revenue related matters. People in general hailed this effort of District Administration Srinagar.

Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar visited five Camp locations. He appreciated the participation of public in the Camps. He also complimented all the Revenue Officers/Officials for their efforts in making this people friendly initiative a success.The District Administration has decided that such Special Camps will be organized in future also in all the Tehsils of District Srinagar, so that genuine grievances of the people are redressed on spot. Pertinent to mention that in the first round held on April 12, 2016,   1737 cases were settled.
