RJD chief Lalu Prasad and his son and Bihar's Deputy Chief Minister Tejaswi Yadav on Tuesday supported Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's stand that the need of the hour was an 'RSS-mukt' India.They also favoured Nitish Kumar's appeal to all non-BJP parties to unite against the saffron party."We support him (Nitish Kumar) and all political parties have to unite to counter the BJP," Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad told the media here.Tejaswi, a cricketer turned politician, said he supported Nitish Kumar's remarks on the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. "We all need an RSS-free India," he said.Reiterating that the need of the hour was a "Sangh-mukt" (RSS-free) India, Janata Dal-United chief Nitish Kumar said on Monday: "The RSS ideology is not good. It is not in the interest of the country and its people.""I am not against any individual. My opposition to the RSS is ideological," the chief minister said.Nitish Kumar urged all "like-minded" parties to unite against the Bharatiya Janata Party."It is high time all non-BJP parties and all others opposed to the RSS should unite across the country. Our main aim is to stop the BJP," he said.Nitish Kumar on Saturday blamed the BJP for sowing seeds of social discord.He said he had never compromised with his ideology despite being part of the BJP-led coalition earlier.
