Shiromani Akali Dal MLA from Ludhiana East Ranjit Singh Dhillon and volunteers of Students organisation of India ( SOI) wing of Shiromani Akali Dal distributed books and stationery items to needy students at a function organised by Shakti welfare society.The books and stationery items were distributed to students of class 1st to five. The students and school staff appreciated the gesture of student’s wing.While addressing the students MLA Ranjit Singh Dhillon give best wishes to the school students.Zonal President of SOI Meetpal Singh Dugri said that in the new academic session SOI volunteers assisted several college students in admission process and now started distributing uniforms, books and stationary items to  needy school students of various schools.Meetpal Dugri said any student can approach them for any kind of help and SOI would be holding camps in educational institutions to redress the issues of students.Prominent among those present on the occasion were ,Surinder Grewal,Sahibjot Singh Chawla,Goldy Oberio,Mukhtiar Singh,Marinder Singh,Taranjeet Nimana,harman Dhillion and many others
