District Development Commissioner, Ganderbal, Showkat Aijaz Bhat today convened a meeting to review the functioning of Revenue department in the district.The DDC directed the concerned officers to expedite the land Acquisition cases and impressed upon the Tehsildars to convene regular meetings with public and ensure their grievances are redressed in timebound manner. They were also directed to expedite the settlement work and formulation of jamabandies. Bhat asked the concerned officers to ensure strict action against encroachments in the district.He also exhorted upon the revenue functionaries to work with zeal and dedication and ensure transparency in the working of Revenue Department.The meeting was attended by ACR Ganderbal, Parvaiz Ahmad Raina. All Tehsildars, Niab Tehsildars and Girdawaires of the district.
