AIP Supremo and MLA Langate Er Rasheed while paying tributes to the innocents killed in Chatisinghpora 16 years back, has accused government and investigating agencies of avoiding the fruitful probe in the massacre. He was addressing an impressive function organized at Chatisinghpora on eve of 16th anniversary of the massacre. In a statement issued to KNS the spokesman said that people in large numbers hailing from different walks of life participated in the program.Speaking on the occasion Er Rasheed said. “It is deep desire and right of every Kashmiri to know about the real story and facts about the massacre but the security agencies have let down people and failed to expose the killers. Rather than bringing facts before the world community security agencies shameful murdered 5 innocent civilians to cover up the incident and create divide between the two communities, but their nefarious designs got exposed.Successive governments have made hollow promises about getting killers to the justice but their every act seems an attempt to cover up the massacre, thus making things more confusing and doubtful.”Er Rasheed hailed Sikh community for always giving moral support to Kashmiri Muslims in the worst hours of crisis and appreciated them for not leaving the valley like Kashmiri Pandiths and resisting against all odds.
