Department of Information and Public Relations, Udhampur organized a debate on the topic “Water is life” in the premises of  Govt Girls Middle School (GGMS), Jandriari Zone Ramnagar,  here today.Headmaster of the School Mr. Sanjeev Modi was the chief guest on the occasion.Ten students of the school participated in the contest and highlighted the importance of Water and its judicial use. Vishali was adjudged the winner while Pooja Devi and Surinder Kumar  stood 2nd and 3rd respectively.While speaking on the occasion, Headmaster appreciated the efforts of Information Department for organising such events in the school. He urged the department to organize  more such programmes  in the  future for providing a platform to the  budding students to develop their talent in right direction.Later the chief guest also distributed prizes and certificates among the participants of the contest.Adhiraj Singh, Vijay Kumar Sharma and Surinder Kumar acted as judges while Gansham Dass conducted the proceedings of the programme.
