Aam Aadmi Party, Punjab today condemned the police action on farmers who were marching to submit their charter of demands to Punjab Governor, Kaptan Singh Solanki in Chandigarh today. Criticizing the act of the Police, Aam Aadmi Party Convener, Sucha Singh Chhotepur said that it is painful to see that the farmers who work hard to feed the country are getting this type of reward from the government.Chhotepur said that this is a common site these days that whosoever raises the voice against the Anti-People policies of government is being curbed forcefully. Showing solidarity with the agitating farmers, Chhotepur said that Aam Aadmi Party always stands with the people who are suffering from the austerities of the ruler. He said that AAP strongly criticizes the use of water cannons and removing turbans of the farmers who were marching peacefully.

Chhotepur asked Punjab Mandi Board Chairman, Ajmer Singh Lakhowal who was leading the march, to clear his stand either he is with the government or the farmers. As the leader fakes to be on farmer’s side but in real he is enjoying all the perks and Cabinet Minister Rank bestowed by the government.
