When the state is under heavy debt and failed to given salaries to its employees, instead of adopting ‘austerity’ measures, it is doling out about Rs six crore annually by liberally giving minister ranks to its ‘blue eyed’ politicians. Criticizing such decisions of the SAD, Suchha Singh Chottepur, Convener Aam Admi Party  today said that state which is overburdened by an ‘army’ of about three dozen such politicians, another crown of ‘minister rank’ was laid on politically defeated SAD leader Sewa Singh Sekhwan recently.Be it compensation to farmers for their damaged crop, salaries to its employees or even dues to the retiring employees, Government failed to fulfil its responsibilities due to ‘financial crunch”, but from where money comes to shower on such self-styled ministers, who have virtually nothing to do? Chottepur quipped.

“Despite facing a cash crunch and its fiscal health remaining grim with debt mounting, the Badal government has set a record of sorts by according cabinet or minister of state ranks to more than three dozen people of different political shades who were rejected by voters”, Chottepur alleged. It seems that SAD has taken a clue from BJP, its junior alliance partner in state, which has already appointed politically defeated leaders Arun Jaitley and Smriti Irani as cabinet ministers in union government, Chottepur stated.
