Additional Deputy Commissioner , Jammu Arun Manhas today convened a meeting to review the arrangements made for Mathwar mela being held on February 12, 2016.The ADC asked the law enforcement agencies to keep a strict vigil in and around the holy shrine, besides barricading the area to prevent any untoward incident and installing metal detectors at the entrance of the shrine for the safety of devotees. The officers of Traffic Police department were directed to make suitable arrangements for smooth movement of vehicles in the area and install proper sign boards so that the devotees don’t face any problems in reaching the shrine.

The Health Department was asked to setup a medical camp at Mathwar and keep two para-medicos readily available for providing timely assistance to the patients, besides providing an ambulance with mobile medical unit at the mela site.

The officers of R&B department were asked to repair the road leading to holy Devsthan from Agore in a time bound manner. The ADC asked the officers of PHE and PDD department to provide clean drinking water and uninterrupted power supply at the shrine respectively.The officers of Jammu Municipal Corporation were directed to ensure sanitation and cleanliness in and around the shrine, besides installing mobile toilets for the convenience of devotees.
