Taking a suo motto notice of a news item published in daily English newspaper regarding illegal detention and physical torture by the police at Bhucho Police post District Bathinda, the Punjab State Scheduled Casts Commission today sought detailed report of the incident from the Senior superintendent of  Police ,Bathinda.Disclosing this here today Mr. Rajesh Bagha, Chairman of Scheduled Casts Commission Punjab said  as per the news report  two youths illegally detained and mercilessly beaten by the police on the behest of some upper cast .  Mr Bagha said that the allegation levelled against the police is serious which needs to be probed.He said that based on the news item the Commission has taken suo motto notice of the incident and sought a detailed report from Senior superintendent of  Police ,Bathinda by 17 feburary 2016.
