To implement the switchover of existing Cable TV Operator Network (Analog) to the  Digital Addressable System (DAS) in district Udhampur, Additional District Magistrate, Udhampur, Angrez Singh Rana chaired a meeting  of all registered private local cable operators (LCOs) and District Level Monitoring Committee, here today.During the meeting, ADC exhorted that no analog signals would be allowed to run in the municipal areas of the district beyond 31st December 2015. He added that only digitized signals will be allowed to run in the municipal areas after 31st December 2015. 

Regarding this, instructions have been passed to all the SHO’s to take strict action against the cable operators who will run analog signals in their respective municipal areas beyond 31st Dec 2015. They were also directed to seize the equipment providing analog signals after 31st Dec 2015.He also instructed all the cable operators to ensure that the digital signals should be provided to all the customers by 31st December 2015 in the district. He also instructed the DLMC members to monitor the Advertisement and programmes telecast by Cable networks in the district seriously and with utmost attention and report to the chairman regarding any complaint for further strict action against the defaulter.
