To ensure that RDD schemes are implemented properly in Jammu division , Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Abdul Haq Khan today chaired a meeting of Additional District Development Commissioners here today.While addressing the meeting, the Minister directed the ADDCs to ensure that all the developmental schemes are executed properly for the betterment of common masses.The Minister informed that District Heads would be asked to monitor and execute RDD schemes including IAY, MGNREGA, RHS, SGSY, Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, IWDP-Haryali and “My Village, My World” at district levels. He directed that the quality of work should be visible on the ground .

The Minister said that Monitoring Information System of the Department should be updated regularly for providing information to the people about welfare schemes being executed by the Government.The Minister directed Secretary RDD to inform all the Deputy Commissioners to spare ADDCs for implementation of development schemes in a time bound manner.It was also discussed in the meeting that 1,200 data entry operators would be engaged at Panchayat levels within two months for smooth functioning of the Department.Secretary, RDD & Panchayati Raj Khurshid Ahmed Shah, CEO, State Level Nodal Agency for Watershed, B A Khan, Director RDD, Jammu M L Raina, Director RDD, Kashmir Tasaduq Jeelani, Mission Director, NRLM   G N Qasba, Director Panchayati Raj R K Bhat, Director Rural Sanitation Shoukat Beig and ADDCs of Jammu division were present in the meeting.
