The District Level Review Committee (DLRC) meeting of Ganderbal District was today held at Mini-Secretariat Ganderbal with District Development Commissioner, Ganderbal, Showkat Aijaz Bhat in the chair.During the meeting, Lead Bank District Manager, Faiz ullah Qureshi gave a brief about achievements of banks operating in the district under District Credit Plan 2015-16.The meeting was told that banks in the district have disbursed a total amount of Rs 112.24 crore for establishment of 5992 units at the end of the second quarter of the Financial Year 2015-16, registering 23% achievement, out of which Rs 99.18 crore have been disbursed for establishment of 5520 units under priority sector registering achievement of 35% and Rs 13.05 crore for establishment of 472 units under non- priority sector registering an achievement of 6%. CD ratio of the district stands at 73%.DDC stressed upon both banks as well as sponsoring agencies to help eradicate unemployment crisis in the district through achievement of set targets under various sectors for setting up income generating units. He also advised financial institutions to sanction/disburse cases strictly as per guide lines and in close co-ordination with sponsoring agencies. He advised NABARD and other concerned agencies for timely release of Subsidy/Margin money.
