Senior Pro-freedom leader and Jammu Kashmir Salvation Movement Chairman Zaffer Akbar Bhat today visited Bijbehara and paid glowing tributes to the youth martyred by the Indian security forces. He, accompanied by party leaders and activists expressed sympathy with the families of martyred youth particularly with the family of martyr Aadil Ahmad Shiekh and Tanvir Ahmad Bhat.According to a statement issued to KNS, addressing the gathering, he paid rich tributes to youth and wowed to take the mission of martyrs to its logical conclusion. He asked International community, United Nations to come forward and fulfill its commitment without taking more time as delaying the resolution of Kashmir conflict can’t yield any fruitful result but will only take more precious lives.

Zaffar Akbar Bhat said that India’s brutal oppression and suppression since 1947 has miserably failed to crush the ongoing freedom struggle and said Kashmir is destined to achieve freedom from Indian bondage for which it has rendered matchless sacrifices. He said that Kashmiri youth are sacrificing their lives for achieving freedom from India. “They don't to want be the slaves of India and will breakdown the chains of occupation,” Zaffer said, adding ongoing movement and mission of martyrs will be taken to its logical conclusion.

He said that participation of people particularly youth in the funeral prayers of martyred youth should serve an eye opener for India as well for the International community who believe in Indian misleading claims. He condemned the use of force on mourners in Bijbehara during last over five days and urged International human rights watch dogs to take strong note of human rights violations perpetrated by forces.Meanwhile, Zaffer Akbar Bhat along with the delegation visited the residence of pro-freedom leader Mohd Ashraf Sofi at Isalamabad and expressed profound grief over the sad demise of his father. Zaffer prayed for deceased soul and expressed sympathy with the family. (KNS)
