Minister for Agriculture Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura has said that the construction work on Dardipora Tilsara and Korren Water Supply Schemes will be started soon. He said on completion of these schemes 14500 souls of Malpora, Dradipora Tilsara, Tujan, Chrawani, Gundishamus, Zanipanchal and its adjacent areas will be provided adequate drinking water facilities.This was disclosed by the Minister while addressing a large public gathering at Charwani Pakharpora village in Charar-e-Sharief Constituency today.

The Minister further said that construction work on Argan-Gargan Water Storage Irrigation Scheme at an estimated cost of Rs.25.28 crore will also be started soon. He said on completion of this scheme it will irrigate more than 1580 hectors of land in Pakharpora area of the constituency.The Minister said that the Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed is committed to provide basic amenities like adequate drinking water, power, education, health and other basic civic facilities to the people of nook and corner of the State. He said in this regard several measures were taken up and sufficient funds released for various developmental works under different sectors.

Mr. Hanjura announced that a Bore Well will be installed in the Chrawani area soon.  In this regard, the Minister directed the authorities of the Agriculture department to conduct survey of the area and identify the site for the purpose so that the construction work on the project will be started on priority. He said Rs 17.25 lakhs would be spent on scheme.Responding to the demands of construction of buildings for school and health centre, the Minister said the Government is fully aware about the problems of the people. He said the demands put forth will be redressed at an earliest.
