A deputation of prominent citizens today called on Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Mohammad Harun Malik.The deputation welcomed Mr. Harun who recently assumed the charge as DC Poonch and apprized him about various developmental and administrative issues in the district. Besides emphasizing on maintaining peace and communal harmony in the district, they stressed on ensuring transparent and responsive administration.Issues pertaining to water and power supply, ongoing macadamization of various roads, discrepancies in the list of rationees as per 2011 census and distribution of Kerosene etc. were raised by the deputation.The Deputy Commissioner gave patient hearing to the issues raised by the deputationists and assured that the issues raised by them will be looked into on priority. Harun sought public cooperation for taking the developmental process in the district ahead.
