A Mega two day 8th District Level, Jawahar Lal Nehru Science/ Mathematics Exhibition organized by District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) Doda was inaugurated by Additional Deputy commissioner Doda, Mohd Hanief Malik.66 Science/ Mathematics Exhibits were displayed by students of different Government as well as Private Educational Institutions of the District, which witnessed enthusiastic participation of about 200 students, besides teachers , parents and head of institutions.ADC after inspecting all the exhibits displayed by the students held a brain storming interaction with the students. In the interaction he gave patient hearing to the demands of the students studying in far flung areas including staff shortage, accommodation shortage, Library & laboratory facility , toilet facility among others, which were redressed by ADC.
In the Science/ Mathematics Exhibition under Elementary school category UPS Parsahalla was adjudged 1st while girls UPS Bhagwah and Iqra public school Doda were adjudged 2nd and 3rd respectively. In Secondary School category the High School Seri, GHSS Bhalara and High School Bheli were adjudged as 1st , 2ndand 3rd respectively. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions in Higher Secondary School category went to Higher Secondary School Khellani,HSS Jatheli and HSS Berraru.Principal DIET Doda K.L Parihar congratulated all the winners and thanked all for the huge participation in making the exhibition successful. He informed that the 1st position holders in each categories will compete at Divisional Level from where the winners will be selected for State and National level competitions.
