To finalize the arrangements for celebration of Navratra and Dussehra festivals in Udhampur town, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur, Angrez Singh Rana convened a meeting of district Officers and prominent citizens of the town, here today.It was decided in the meeting that the main function would be held at Sports Stadium, Udhampur on October 22, 2015. Regarding other arrangements like drinking water power supply, security, sanitation, Medicare, seating and barricading, ADC directed the concerned officers to ensure foolproof arrangements well in time.ADC also directed the Chief Executive Officer, Municipal Council to ensure cleanliness in the town during festive season.To keep a check on the rates and quality of the eatables, a team of officers comprising, Assistant Director, CAPD, Tehsildar, Udhampur, Chief Executive Officer Municipality, Assistant Controller Metrology and SHO, Udhampur has been constituted which would conduct market checking particularly during the festival days.Executive Engineers, PDD, PHE, PWD, CEO Municipal council, Chief Medical Officer, Civil Defence, Traffic, Fire Services, Presidents and members of Navratra and Dussehra Celebration Committee and prominent citizens of the Udhampur attended the meeting.
