In order to review the physical and financial achievements registered by various departments under Annual Plan 2015-16, District Development Commissioner, Kathua Ramesh Kumar convened a meeting of District Officers here today.Pertinently, DDC had held series of meetings to review the progress of development projects department wise under District Plan.The DDC reviewed the physical and financial achievements made by various departments like Rural Development Department, Sheep Husbandry, Animal Husbandry, PDD, PWD, Education, Agriculture, Horticulture, Health, Social Welfare Department, Urban Development Department and Sericulture under Annual District Plan 2015-16 and other Centrally sponsored flagship programmes.The DDC directed District and Sectoral Officers to ensure quality of works and time bound completion of ongoing developmental works in the district so that the benefits of the developmental schemes reach to the people in time. He called for furnishing the details of completed and ongoing projects so that physical verification shall be ensured well in time. He also impressed upon the officers to personally visit the sites and monitor the pace and quality of works. Among others, Additional District Development Commissioner, Kathua, Chief Planning Officer and District Officers of various departments were present in the meeting.
