Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar on Monday met his Delhi counterpart Arvind Kejriwal to discuss Centre-State relations."Sarkar was positive about the upcoming chief ministers' conclave on the Indian federal structure, to be organised by Aam Aadmi Party, and said it would be a good idea to organise such an event," a Delhi government official said. Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia was also present at the meeting in the Delhi secretariat.The Aam Aadmi Party will organise the chief ministers' conclave on centre-state relations in September.

Both the chief ministers discussed the issue of Centre-State relationship and the federal structure of the country."Sarkar also invited Kejriwal and Sisodia to visit Tripura, to which both replied in the affirmative," the official said.Earlier, Communist Party of India (Marxist) general secretary Sitaram Yechuri also met Kejriwal and discussed the deteriorating Centre-State relations.Yechury also expressed his willingness to attend the upcoming conclave."We will be there, though a formal invitation is yet to be received," he said.
