Army organizes national integration tour for students, their families in Anantnag

In Army’s constant pursuit in consonance with its ethos, Army based at Aishmuqam organized a National Integration Tour for the selected meritorious students based upon their academics. This time army has decided to include families of these students as part of the tour. The tour scheduled from 23 Aug 15 to 07 Sep 2015 under the aegis of Chinar Corps, consists of 15 boys & 15 girls participants along with 10 elderly persons from the area of Lidder Valley & Khiram bowl, The aim of the tour is to introduce young minds, along with their families, to the rich and diverse culture and secular nature of our country.

The Tour was flagged-off from Aishmuqam by Col SN Singh, the Commanding Officer of the Army Camp based at Aishmuqam. The tour will provide an opportunity to the students and their families to witness the economical and technological progress of the nation.

The tour will be visiting premier educational institutes of Jammu and Delhi which will help them to understand the multitude of career options available in different parts of the Country. Such tours conducted by Army promote the message of peaceful co-existence amongst youth and inspire them to be focused towards their career starting from a very early age. The Army through such interactive reinforces its commitment to afford all possible assistance to the Awaam of Kashmir in realizing their potential. (KNS)
