Minister for Revenue, Javaid Mustafa Mir today chaired a review meeting of Revenue officers at DC office Budgam.
The meeting was attended by Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Dr Asgar Samoon, Secretary Revenue, Mohammad Afzal Bhat, Deputy Commissioner, Budgam, SDMs, Tehsildars and Naib tehsildars.In the meeting directions were issued regarding eviction of encroachment of State land/Kahchari land.The Minister directed DC Budgam to fix the targets for removing encroachments and submit a monthly progress report in this regard.The Minister stressed the officers to maintain tour diaries and directed the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir to evolve standard operating procedures for the revenue officers.Mr. Javaid directed the DC Budgam to start single window system for quick disposal of services and to submit the progress report in respect of PRCs and other certificate in the district during the last four months.The Minister also stressed upon the Tehsildars to ensure that all the Patwaris sit in their respective Patwarkhanas at least on two notified days in a week in a move to provide services to the people round the clock.
