Ishfaq-ur-Rehman Poswal, BJP leader Monday urged workers of BJP to draw inspiration from the life of late Shyama Prashad Mukherjee, founder leader Jan Sangh and work for the welfare of people in the nation.Poswal was addressing workers in remote Gundi Gujran village of border Tanghdar town of frontier Kupwara district, 170 Kms from Srinagar. On the occasion, hundreds of patients from remote villages including Batalan, Draggad, Gundi Sayeedan and Ibkote attended free medical camp organized by BJP leader on occasion of birthday of Mukherjee.“I urge the workers to follow the selfless life of legendary leader Shyama Prashad Mukherjee and work for the welfare of people selflessly. He was a great leader who scarified his life for the people of nation,” said Poswal.

“Mukherjee has a vision to take Jammu and Kashmir from darkness to light and for this purpose he sacrificed his own life under detention in the state. Mukherjee strived to see Jammu and Kashmir as integral part of India and under one Indian flag,” he added. Poswal said that border town Tanghdar will be connected under “Digital India” and all communication facilities will be provided to the residents of border town.“Narendra Modi has a vision to bring every nook and corner of the country on communication map. That is why Modi recently launched ambitious “Digital India” week in the country on July 1. The Prime Minister also announced to provide jobs to 18 lakhs youths under the “Digital India” programme,” he said.

“I am confident jobless youths of this border town will also get ample job opportunities under the programme launched recently,” he added. Poswal thanked the health authorities especially BMO Tanghdar, Dr Mohammad Yusuf for providing adequate medical staff during the medical camp.
